Adriatic Boat of the Year Winners

Yesterday, on 17 May 2013, the Exhibitors' Evening of Internautica took place in Restaurant Laguna, Marina Portorož. The event included the award ceremony for the Adriatic Boat of the Year 2013. For the first time, the Slovenian-Croatian ten-member jury chose the Adriatic Boat of the Year and the winners were revealed at Exhibitors' Evening.

Winners in group Motor Boats are:

Jeanneau Merry Fisher 855 & 855 Marlin for category Sport Motor Boat

Marex 320 for category Motor Yacht from 20 to 40 feet

Contest 52MC for category Motor Yacht from 40 to 55 feet

Ferretti 690 for category Motor Yacht from 55 to 70 feet

Pershing 82 for category Motor Yacht over 70 feet

Winners in group Sailing Boats are:

Dufour Grand Large 335 for category Cruiser up to 40 feet

Hallberg Rassy 415 for category Cruiser from 40 to 60 feet

Elan 400 for category Performance up to 40 feet

Xp 50 for category Performance from 40 to 60 feet

J70 for category Daysailer

Baltic 65 for category Sailing Boat over 60 feet

At Friday's Exhibitors' Evening, the organizers also awarded the winners of the three special categories. The Adriatic Product of the Year award, among motor and sailing boats of Adriatic production (ITA, SLO, CRO, MN), went to Seascape 27.

Adriatic Personality of the Year, i.e. the person who has invested the most effort into popularization of boating, is Slavko Linić, Finance Minister of the Republic of Croatia, who introduced lower tax for sport and leisure boats. The goal of that decision was to keep the boats in Croatia, also after the accession to the EU, in order to maintain the present income from nautical tourism.

As the Adriatic Project of the Year, the jury chose Adriatic Sea Forum, which took place at Trieste, on 22 and 23 March 2013. The forum hosted experts, who shared their knowledge on connecting tourism and boating in the Adriatic Region.

On Friday, 17 May, organizers also staged the Internautica Media Cup 2013 regatta, featuring teams of representatives of the Slovenian media. The winner of the race, as well as the Internautica Cup, is the team of Val navtika magazine and their skipper Julijan Višnjevec.

Today, on 17 May 2013 at 20:30, Exhibitors' Evening of Internautica 2013 will take place in Restaurant Laguna, Marina Portorož. During the Exhibitors' Evening, we will give the Adriatic Boat of the Year awards to winners chosen by the ten-member Slovenian-Croatian jury of experts.

Furthermore, we will also award the winners of today’s Internautica Media Cup 2013 regatta, featuring representatives of the Slovenian media, who raced for the Internautica Cup.

As for true dancing music and party atmosphere, you will be entertained by the Italian band »Magazzino Commerciale« and their special guests.

Dear Exhibitors,

Please make sure that you bring your accreditation card for the second weekend of Internautica, since they are valid for all days of the boat show, including the second weekend. In case you lose the card or forget to bring it, you will have to cover the expenses of new accreditation.

Every year, Internautica's organizers systematically upgrade and modernize the boat show offer and, consequently enrich its program contents. Among boat show exhibitors, one may find unique programs and presentations of 160 companies and more than 100 exhibited boats.

During the weekend, from 17 till 19 May 2013, the line-up of motor yachts, sports boats and sailing boats will include some of the latest prestigious boats, such as motor yachts Ferretti 760 and Pershing 82, the largest Slovenian-built motor yacht Greenline Ocean Class 70, the 25-meter long Dominator 86, the latest collection of CRANCHI motor yachts, new models of sailing boats Elan, X-Yachts, Bavaria and numerous smaller sports and inflatable boats. Apart from the boat offer, the exhibitors will showcase boating equipment, technical accessories, boat service and other marine services, while visitors will be able to choose from a rich offer of sports clothing, apparel and footwear.

Whether you are a boat owner or planning to become one, do not miss the selection of nautical seminars and education providers, intended for the improvement of your marine skills or obtaining new ones. This year's Internautica also features exhibitors presenting new boat maintenance techniques and offer practical, as well as professional consulting.

Visitors will have an opportunity to buy certain products at lower prices, since most exhibitors prepared special offers during the boat show.

Program of events has been enriched with various sports events, daily attractions and pleasant evening socializing. Thus on 17 May 2013, the Internautica Media Cup 2013 regatta will take place and feature teams composed of representatives of the Slovenian media. The winners will, naturally, be given awards, as well as the Internautica Cup. Furthermore, the award ceremony for the Adriatic Boat of the Year, chosen by the 10-memeber Slovenian-Croatian jury, will also take place on Friday.

RNF (Rok and Nac Florjančič, World Jet-Ski Freestyle Champions for 2012) Jet-Ski Freestyle Team will stage a first-class show of Internautica 2013, featuring their impressive stunts, providing for fun, relaxation and excitement.

For all, who wish to test their luck, the organizers have prepared a prize game of Internautica for visitors. The main prize is VOLKSWAGEN UP!, winner of which will be drawn on Sunday, 19 May 2013, at 6 p.m., along with other prizes!

The App enables an overview of all exhibitors, including contact, basic information and floor plan location, as well as a separate overview of all exhibited boats. The app also enables filtered search of the exhibitor list, regarding types of products and companies. It features the event programme and overview of latest news concerning the boat show. The App is available in the English and Slovenian language.
